This is a Rare and Extremely niceStanleyNo. 51 Chute / Shoot Plane and No. 52 Chute / Shoot Board. It is very good condition with a nice patina. The hold down, hold down screw, and wing nut are reproduction. The tommy bar is missing and is replaced by a bolt. Blade is a type 10 logo from 1907-1909. The 51 began production in 1909 so this is possibly the original blade. I am not aware of a type study for the 51/52 so I can\'t attest to the type. The plane is beautiful and displays extremely well but could be used if you want. I have a Lie Nielsen 51 with a Lee Valley chute board that I use so I have not used this one. Tote is in excellent condition. The frog is also in excellent condition.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND INSURANCE FOR THIS ITEM!!!I will combine shipping where possible.
