Extremely rare World War II era war bonds spot color booklet printed by Mead paper company in 1943. Includes information about sabotage and illustrations of Japanese Emperor Hirohito, and Nazi Fuhrer Adolf Hitler (basically turns them into dartboards with names like HiroHITo and HITler) along with graphic illustrations, war bond stamps, photographs of US Soldiers, Sailors, and Marines. Also discusses alternatives to wartime rationing paper and metal. A separate booklet called Men Wanted to Get the Message Through touts the benefits of serving in the Army signal Corps with black and white photos and duotones highlighted by spot color. A section called The Dummy includes jokes that revolve around the use of alternate materials due to wartime rationing. The booklet is printed on various types of paper to show the options that Mead could provide customers. Has about 2-3 inch border on front cover top edge where it has yellowed darker than the rest of cover and some other light spots on cover. Light scuffing/folding at cover corners and some light surface dirt on back cover.
