‘Have nothing in your houses that you donot consider to be beautiful or useful.’ William Morris Rare Vintage Two-Part (Espresso) CoffeeMaker by Christofle A rare silverplated, two-part “Frenchpress style” coffee maker by the famous French silversmith house of Christofle. The top part consists of a filter withthe cup for the ground coffee beans and a press-down plunger, while the bottompart is the actual coffee pot. Ever attentive to details, the pot’s spout has afitted chained cover which prevents spillage as well as keeps the coffee hot. The top fits very snugly into the bottom pot. The lid fits both pieces and the stylishwooden handles complement the pieces. The exterior has very few signs of useand the interior is clean. It dates from the late 1940’s and measures 11 inchestall from the bottom to the top of the knob. Pleaseread before purchasing Vintage and antiqueobjects have lived and been used and because of that, they sometimes show it.The condition of the object is described as accurately as possible, includingits character flaws.
