This is a Rare, Vintage Pewter Duck Trinket Box that was Made in Portugal. It features a lovely aged patina, especially when seen in contrast to the very shiny inside, as you can see in the photos. It is made of pewter or some other non-ferrous (non-magnetic) metal.

It is rather large & heavy, measuring approx. 9” long x 5” wide x 6 1/2” tall, weighing in at a hefty approx. 3.10 pounds. I have not seen another example of this exact piece anywhere on the internet. The bottom is marked “Fecit VCM, Made In Portugal” and there is a maker’s mark present. The original four bottom felts are present.

This vintage pewter duck box would make an awesome addition to any home’s decor or collection, and would make a great gift, too! It would also make an interesting & decorative conversation piece. The pictures above show the condition of the actual item you will receive, as I don't use stock photography.

This vintage item is in very good condition, but it does show some expected wear consistent with age. It is old and it looks old! Basically, it looks as it does in the photos…
