Item: (1) Rare, vintage, original photo taken of Crescent Avenue in Avalon 1920.
At right is the MAC RAE Hotel that was built in 1920. You can see lots of empty boxes and tins, so this was probably taken shortly after or during construction.
On the first floor is the Souvenir Shop, the Avalon Drug store and Avalon Dry Goods store.
To the left of that building is a small place called CEE & ETT. To the left of that is the SEAL ROCK CAFE.
To their left is JOHN\'S CAFE which is on the first floor of the VINCENT APARTMENTS Building. A delivery truck is right in front.
To the left of the apartments is a Spanish Style building that looks like a higher end hotel.
Makes sense there is nobody around as this was taken in December so it was the off season.
Details are very clear for a 102 year old photograph.
