This listing is for a rare vintage French mechanical wine cradle decanting machine, fitted on a rectangular wooden base. This expertly handcrafted rustic style piece is made from oak wood. The cradle is designed to ensure a perfect decant of a usually red wine, leaving any sediment residue behind in the bottle.

It features a bottle rest which can be adjusted by a large hand carved screw. There is also a crank handle and cog that steadily lowers the front of the bottle to ensure a smooth and precise flow of wine at the desired speed for precision accuracy in functionality. It works well. This well crafted piece measures about 15” high when tilted upward x 20” diameter when fully extended; and weighs 2 kilograms. It shows light signs of use and wear and no other discernible damage.
