Rare Vintage 1970 Osaka Japan Expo 70 Pavilions Souvenir Set of 64 photo cards:

Very hard to find vintage full-color card deck of the pavilions at the Japan World Exposition 1970 in Osaka, Japan. Includes custom EXPO 70 plastic carrying case. Very few of these come up for sale.

The card case states they are made by “Seikyokudo, Most Refined Card in Japan.” All of the primary pavilions are featured in this 64 picture card series, in full and beautiful color. Cards measure 2-7/8” X 4-1/8” each.

Cards are in nice condition for very 50 years old. There are some slight surface scratches on the cards and container. A few cards have some minor bends or some creases in them, which I have pictured.

The cards have a glossy surface for added protection. On the back of each card states which pavilion is featured on the reverse side of the card. The card carrying case also includes the original price tag in Japanese. This deck features all of the primary great photographs of the EXPO so you don’t have to hunt for obscure one-off postcards or photos. You’ll have a great view of the entire EXPO grounds, and see the meaning behind its theme: Progress and Harmony for Mankind.
