Item is a scarce 7/8” multi colored celluloid pinback issuedin the early part of the 20th Century in conjunction with theAmerican Museum of Safety established in 1907 in New York City. The Gotham Center for New York City Historystates “Using displays of safety equipment and exhibitions of the latestaccident prevention techniques, the museum sought to build a bridge betweenemployer, employee and city authorities, to develop healthy labor environments,responsible individuals and workplace harmony.” Pinback is Very Good Plus toExcellent with strong color and no celluloid cracks or breaks.
