This is a fabulous set - it is The Nutcracker Ballet Theatre!This was released by Candlewick Press, and features text by Jean Mahoney, and illustrations by Viola Ann Seddon.
So it starts as a box that you open up. First thing you see is the back of the stage with people waiting to see the show. Fold this down and you have a stage! Inside the box is a book which contains a CD with the Nutcracker music on it. The book guides you through each scene - which music to play, and which accessories to use to set the stage for that scene!
Also inside the box are pieces to bring this show to life on your little stage! There are 6 main characters on sticks, which slot into various holes on the stage. There are also four sheets of other characters you can punch out and display.
It also comes with four backdrops - one built in and 3 loose ones that you can add to the stage to change the background! All the backgrounds, figures, book etc are stored inside the box, behind the stage.
The box itself has some damage and is a little knocked around. The contents including book, cd, figures and backgrounds are all in great condition.Please view the photos carefully as they show the condition in full! It will be sent in a box so it does not get damaged in the mail.
