Here is an extremely rare issue of the Dallas Times Herald from November 22, 1963 with the headline JFK Ambushed in Dallas Texas. PRESIDENT DEAD, CONNALLY SHOT. Johnson Assumes Office.
This is the ORIGINAL first printing describing the assassination of President Kennedy, and NOT the re-issue from the same evening that replaced this rare fist issue. There are facts about the Kennedy assassination in this edition that are not in the re-issue.
This is a very hard newspaper to find, and it is in really great condition for its age. This came from the estate of an ex-WW2 soldier who had been living in Dallas at the time. They have been stored away securely and have laid flat all these years. As you can see the paper appears to have never been folded as there is no vertical creasing.
