Up for sale is a rare originalcartoon drawing from long time Baltimore Sun illustrator, John Stees. The cartoon is not dated and measures approximately8" X10 3/4". Mr. Stees (Baltimore 1910-1982) was a well known artist / cartoonistfor the Baltimore Sun Newspaper from 1936-1979.He also was a cartoonist and artist for both The Sunday Sun and The Evening Sun. Even after he retired from the Sun in 1979 his strip "Stees Sees" continued appearing until his death in 1982. The drawing is in good condition. Some slight discoloration, markings, and weardue to age mainlyatedges.There issome writing in pencilat topof drawing. Alsoit is numberedinupper rightcorner.All of this isshown in photos.
