A rare hand painted character/Toby mug from Wood and Sons England of Napoleon Bonaparte. This item comes from the A Pride of Britain collection. The item is in good condition overall.There is come minor cracking in the glaze on top of the handle but the handle is fully intact.
The bottom edge of the mug has some scuffing that may be removed by the buyer.
As these are hand-painted it seems the painter had other things on their mind as they missed a spot on the right-side underside of Napoleon\'s hat.
Many, not all, of the toby mugs are either signed by the artist or numbered. This mug has a \'2\' or \'Z\' inscribed on the bottom.
