This is a rare NEW in the box NumberedC16PBK Goddard Lightweight model folding knife, Collectors Club knife numbered 161of 200.
The C16PBK Goddard Lightweight is black FRN handled with ATS-55 blade steel.
Over thirtyyears ago, Wayne Goddard set out to create a heftier, stronger knife that wouldhold a better edge. Today Wayne is a historian of the folding knife and creatorof this Spyderco/Goddard collaboration series. This design is a composite ofhundreds of different Goddard folders and is available in three sizes. The plainblade incorporates the SpydercoTrademark Round Hole and eliminates the “hump” just above the hole. The bladehas just enough belly to be effective, and the tip is reinforced to accommodateheavy-duty work. The slim scales are made of FRN to provide strength,lightweight handling and attractive styling. The handle includes a built-in“guard” to provide optimum protection against sliding up on the blade, and theclip is positioned high on the knife for convenient.
The knife initself features a sturdy drop-point blade, hollow saber grind, Mar-McBurnetttefront lock, clip and opening hole. The designer’s signature is etched onto eachblade. The FRN variations offer amofferextrous clip for tip-up carry.
The C16PBK Goddard Lightweight wasmanufactured in 2000.
This is a new in original boxCollector Club knife numbered 161 of 200 that has sat in a collection untouchedfor over 22 years.
