I am calling this plane RARE because it is complete with its original adjustable fence which is usually missing. Carpenters prefer this style rabbet plane because it has the extra knife on the side of the dai that cuts and cleans the side of the rabbet ahead of the blade. This side blade is set slightly lower than the cutting edge of the blade for a clean cut. It is in \"as found\" condition and will need to be set up and the blades sharpened.
