This neat old bank should date to 1965 when the original name of the Astrodome was the Harris County Domed Stadium. It has some blemishes on the top as noted in the photos.

It\'s an interesting design since the only coin slot appears to be on the bottom of the bank. Either that or it was an oversight.

There is no key. It appears at some point that someone tried to pry open the lock, but they were unsuccessful. There is only some slight bending and it does not affect the ability of the bank to sit flat. This is a fairly heavy bank weighing in at about 1 lb, 4 oz.
