This is a highly rare and nostalgic Showa-era retro desktop clock.

It features a Mitsubishi Time Switch (SG-110) with a buzzer.

Upon testing by plugging it in, both the second hand and buzzer functioned properly.

You can set the buzzer as an alarm for various occasions or use it as a wake-up alarm.

While it may have been intended for household appliances of the time, it seems it could also be used as an alarm function for those appliances when connected to the back.
