Rare Exquisite Vintage Luigi Zortea Italy Large Painted Figurine Over 8” Tall:

Stunning is a good word to describe this large Italian piece by Luigi Zortea. Not sure of the material but it appears to be porcelain (his works have also been described as majolica). Whatever it is it allows for amazing detail (including hand painted face and delicate flowers on her lap) and colors (many other Zortea pieces are unpainted). I’ve looked at this beautiful piece from every angle and see but one small “flea bite” below her left elbow (see pic) but please scrutinize the pictures to judge condition for yourself and thanks for stopping by.
