Rare Early Meissen Porcelain Tree Spill Vase w Figures & Flowers 1756-80 Germany:

For your consideration, a very rare early Meissen tree form spill vase decorated with figures and flowers. The vase has been converted into a table lamp. The Meissen mark dates the piece to 1756-80. Chipping to the top of the tree, mild chipping to flowers, a missing ear on the sheep, firing cracks, and some small spots of flaked off paint are noted in photos. A notch has been cut out of the foot to accommodate the electric cord at the back. The lamp wiring and hardware likely dates to the 1940s and should be replaced for safety reasons (plug is old and a bit suspect). The double bulb hardware pivots a bit on the brass pole which is normal for this type of lamp kit. Item will be shipped double boxed. Signature required for delivery.

Vase measures 10.5 inches in height, 10 3/8 inches in width, and 7 1/8 inches in profile depth. 21.5 inches in height with hardware.
