SPECTACULAR OLD VINTAGE WESTERN AMERICANBOYD BRAND, RENO, NEVADASTERLING SILVER OVERLAY BIRD IN FLIGHT BELT BUCKLE
This pre-owned BOYD buckle is in very good vintage condition. It features high definition hand engraving with a large raised bird in flight image. Even the bird has intricate engraved details in the feathers, as our photos show. The semi circular edges are also an unusual feature and give the impression that the bird is flying through a cloud. There is minor tarnish…..as would be expected on an aged sterling silver surface….but the signs of use are well below average for its age (ca. 1950’s to 1960’s). The buckle measures 3 1/4” x 3”, fits belts up to 1 1/2” wide, and weighs 95 grams or 3.3 ounces on our scale. Will be shipped USPS first class package carefully wrapped.
