The compact features a Mid Century teenage girl on the telephone with cord wrapped around her shoes! AND 2 publications with Laura Jean Allen’s Art! The New Yorker magazine is a complete copy dated 1970 with the cover art done by this artist as printed. Laura Jean Allen. Laura Jean Allen created 21 covers for the New Yorker.

Laura Jean Allen (American, 1916-2003) studied at the Pennsylvania Museum School in Philadelphia and graduated in 1939. As a print designer, she was one of the most prolific of the Associated American Artists designers.
