For sale is this genuine ancient Roman “crucifixion” nail. While it is impossible to tell if this piece was actually used in a Roman Crucifixion, this is the style of nail that was used, giving this the common name of “crucifixion nail”. This is an authentic ancient Roman hand made iron nail, that was produced and used in the holy land // middle east area. Note from the photos the approximate size and shape of the nail, as well as its condition. It is heavily rusted, but thanks to the dry climate, has also been remarkably preserved. It’s possible that this piece was once slightly longer, but has lost some length from years of rusting. This is an incredible piece and would make a great addition to any collection! Don’t pass it up!
