Rare Art Deco 1920\'s Chic Pak Bakelite & Chrome Dancing Nymph Powder Compact:

On offer is this very rare 1920\'s Chic Pak Made in England powder compact. This powder compact measures 5 cm in diameter and has a bakelite base with chrome top. The lid has cold painted blue enamel with raised metal design featuring a dancing nymph. The bottom of the cream bakelite base has a central floral design. The base unscrews from the chrome top to refill and the underside is is marked Chic Pak Made in England. The compact top has firm hinge and secure catch and opens to reveal a clear and reflective framed mirror under the lid. The powder well is empty. This rare art deco powder compact is offered in good pre-used condition. The blue enamel lid has some wear and there is a small ding. The chrome powder well has some tarnishing. The bakelite base is in good order with no chips or cracks. Thank you for looking.
