Rare Antique HAVILAND & Co.Limoges, France Schleiger Pattern #722-1. Description: Haviland & Co., Blank 9, Brownish Pink Flowers, Green Leaves, Gold Cup Handles, No Trim. Made in Limoges, FranceMaker's Marks: All of these pieces have a green underglazed 'H & Co' over '___' over 'L' (or 'Depose') Haviland & Company's manufacturer's marks. These marks were both used on wares made between ca. 1876 and 1889. They also have the 'HAVILAND & Co. LIMOGES' round "donut" mark indicating they were also the decorator. This red underglaze decorator's mark also dates to ca. 1879 to 1889. Condition: These appear ten years old, not 130. There may be light utensil marks, but any wear is minimal. Light shelf wear exists, but no chips, cracks or crazing. This is a beautiful set! See photos.
