Unique and rare piece- very difficult to find another like itNot sure of it's intended purpose, but it is elegant and beautiful - could be used as a trinket or jewelry dish, or possibly a soap dish
Appears to be made of 3 separate pieces:- the rounded dish base looks almost like a bird's nest with 2 resting feet on bottom- the bird perched in the front of "nest" is attached by a screw and can be twisted to face a different direction- the branches (with another bird and leaves) is screwed into the base and secured with a nut, and the 2 ends of the branches are hooked into loops on the sides of the base
Dish wobbles a little and sits slightly tilted
Marked on the bottom with "Made in Spain"
Approx. measurements:Base- 4 1/2 inches x 4 inches, 3/4 inches deepOverall- 4 1/2 inches x 4 inches, 4 inches tall
