Very - very rare and collectable Antique Russian icon of theMother of God of Feodorovskay, from the mid 19th CenturyPainted with oil on a really thick wood (3.5 cm depth), this shows that the icon is not a regular one, but a high-end quality one!\"The Feodorovskaya Icon of theMother of God(Russian: Феодоровская икона Божией Матери), also known as Our Lady of Saint Theodore and the Black Virgin Mary of Russia, is thepatron icon of the Romanov family. It is one of the most venerated icons in the Upper Volga region.\"Measures 35.5 x 31 x 3.5 cm
Condition:Condition fit\'s perfectly for it\'s age. Paint cracks, paint chippings are visible on the surface. There are 2 \"bullet holes\" as I was told, on the front which have been filled in with a material. It can be restored, however, I believe it shows how unique the icon is. Please see all photos as I tried to photograph the condition of the icon as much as possible from every angle.
