Description: An antique Dresden Art Plate with “Louise” Portrait and Meat Packing advertising, 9-5/8” diameter, The Meek Company (Coshocton, OH) for John C. Roth Packing Co. (Cincinnati, OH), c.1907. Rare.

Art Nouveau tin lithographed plate with the Meek No.200 - Louis portrait and custom border with (4) advertising scenes for Dove Brand Sugar Cured Meats.

Scenes include a Dove with Advertising Banner for Dove Brand Meats, various Cuts of Raw Meat, Doves & Birdhouse and a Pig getting beaten with a stick!

Reverse with information on obtaining the plate (6 labels + 10 cents) from Roth Packing (see close-up, photo #6). Also, DRESDEN ART PLATE / MADE BY / THE MEEK COMPANY, COSHOCTON O. U.S.A.

Condition: Good+ to Very Good overall with bold, vibrant color. A hard-to-find Roth advertising piece and true cross-collectible. Imperfections are noted below:
