This antique French Champleve enamel and bronze collection is a rare find for collectors of metalware. The set includes three pieces, all dating back to the 1800s and featuring intricate detailing and craftsmanship. The pieces are a testament to the artistry of the time and would make a beautiful addition to any collection.
Each item in the collection has signs of its age. The scale has a "foot" that's been replaced. There is also a piece that held the scale secure to the tray that is missing. I believe they took this piece and used it for the foot but I'm not sure. The scale is still attached to the tray just loose. The vase has a slight lean but I was too scared to try and pull it back into place. Other signs of age include a bit of oxidizing. This is mainly visible on the platter and scale. The Champleve enamel is vibrant and adds a pop of color to the bronze base. Don't miss out on the chance to own a piece of history with this stunning collection.
