Antique 1910s “Evans’ Antiseptic Throat Pastilles” Advertising Tin! Description

This sale is for a Vintage “Evans’ Antiseptic Throat Pastilles” Advertising Tin! This is a very rare antique throat lozenges advertising tin, made by Evans Sons Lescher and Webb Ltd. in Liverpool, London and New York back in the 1910s or 1920s! The tin bears the official Evans trade mark and was distributed in the US by Evans Sons Lescher and Webb Ltd. in New York City. This is a gold colored metal tin with advertising graphics on its top in black on gold lithography. It measures about 2⅜” x 3¼” x ⅞”. As shown in the photos, the tin is in very good condition for its age with some normal wear from use. There are some scuffs or scratches, small marks, and light dings or dents that you would expect for such an old tin container. The top and bottom fit together well as shown. This vintage “Evans’ Antiseptic Throat Pastilles” advertising tin would make a great addition to your collection!
