This antique item is wall hanging and dotted of with shells , made off wool and blue eyes against evil eye and evil spirit,to chase them out of tribal tent or home.It is from Konya plateau in Turkey where local nomads used to live and make rugs for their own use. Nomads used to believe blue eyes and shells would chase out evil spirit out of their tent and home,so they used to decorate their places and horses with them.Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions and i will be happy to answer it.
