This yellow cookie jar is a rare find! It features an amber glass design with the words:
Side 1: The General Store Marysville Kansas 1882. With an eagle with stars in center Side 2: Purveyors of High Class Foods Best Trade Brands. Top: One Gallon True Measure. Bottom: Crownford China Co Inc Jar Made In Italy 1971.
Appears to have the original seal but it is drying out. Bail flip top. The jar is yellow amber but the lid is clear There are some chips on the underside of the lid and some flea bites from lid on opening You see a lot of these in clear and cobalt but this amber jar is a rare find
