This is a 1960s Mexican Ex Voto Painting on Wooddepicting a girl sitting up in bed with her arms crossed.To her right is a large rendition of the Virgen de San Juan de los Lagoswith a priest in robe underneath.
The text translates to " I give my infinite thanks to God our Lord for the intercessionof the Santisima Virgen de San Juanito healed my daughter."
It is Initialed E.R.C after this.
This particular painting is very dramatic, with intense shading and colors.
The Hecho En Mexico Sticker was applied by the previous owner to export them.Approx. Dimensions:Height: 6"Width: 9 3/8"
Condition:In good age related condition, some losses to the wood on the edges.Painting is overall in good presentable condition.
