Up for sale is a Vintage 1930s “The Commodore” Lumitone Photoprint Postcard! This vintage postcard features a photo of the Commodore Hotel in New York City. It is marked “The Commodore Grand Central Terminal - Forty-Second Street and Lexington Avenue, New York” on the front with “Lumitone Photoprint - New York - Made in USA” on the back. The Lumitone Photoprint process enabled a printed postcard to closely resemble a photo postcard. As shown in scans, this postcard is in very good condition for its age with very little edge or corner wear and a little light soiling. The postcard was never mailed and lies flat with no writing, creases, rips, or tears. This vintage postcard would make a great addition to your collection!
