up for sale is a historical and Rare Original 1919 WWI Military and POLITICAL Panoramic Photo from Island Park Pennsylvania as seen in my photos above. Written at the bottom of the matting reeds....." GOVERNOR WILLIAM C SPROUL AND CITY OFFICIALS GREETING THE RETURNING SOLDIERS AT ISLAND PARK SUNDAY AFTERNOON, SEPTEMBER 28TH 1919 ARMY DECORATIONS WERE PRESENTED ON THIS OCCASION BY COLONEL JAMES B KEMPER AND MAJOR FRANK C MAHIN OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY TO MAJOR SAMUEL W FLEMING JR Croix De Guerre CAPTAIN EDWARD J STACKPOLE JR DISTINGUISHED SERVICE CROSS CAPTAIN WILLIAM M MCCREATH Croix De Guerre AND SERGEANT G C SHECKART DISTINGUISHED SERVICE CROSS AND FRENCH METAL MILITAIRE THE CITATION FROM GENERAL JOHN J PERSHING WERE READ BY MAJOR MAHIN SHOWING THE VALOROUS SERVICE OF THOSE DECORATED" ..... It is framed and matted under glass. The photo itself measures 27 3/4" BY 5 1/2" Total measurement is 36 1/2" x

By 14 1/4". It does have condition issues from age but overall displays well. This came off of an old farm in Lancaster county Pennsylvania. There is a small hole in the photo as seen in my last picture It looks like something might have popped through the back and tore a little piece of the photo but it still displays well and can go unnoticed. I am selling this item as is as seen but I think this would be a great addition to somebody's historical collection of both military political and early Pennsylvania history.
