Scene Depicts Napoleon Bonapart loading a cannon during the French Revolutionary Wars As ayoung artillery officer Napoleon Bonaparte won his first military reputation byforcing the withdrawal of the Anglo-Spanish fleet, which was occupying the southern French city of Toulon and its forts.The box is in the shape of Napoleon\'s Bicorn hat.
The back shows bronze in white bone button with V through it.
This is the French Revolution Cockade and is on other snuff boxes of this period.
Condition : Natural hairlines caused by age but is solid and in good condition for it\'s age.
I believe this is horn, other sites list some as painted wood.
