This is most likely a one-of-a-kind real photo postcard. Let me give you some details on this one, thanks to my research and that of my online friends. The card features a proud Moose wearing pins on his vest, with an event sign under the desk, and another sign on top that says \"Purity - Aid - Progress\". Great image with old telephone and typewriter.- The card is hand dated 1914, however it\'s in ball point pen so most likely written at a much later date. The writing seems shaky like that of an older person. They noted this was from Clarksburg, and added a name \"Bell\".- The news clipping is from the Daily Telegram in Clarksburg WV on June 29, 1915. (No real news clipping provided with postcard - this is for provenance only) It mentions the addition of a mule race, so I believe this card is from 1915 or slightly later. The person writing the date may not have remembered correctly.- I\'m guessing the man is named Bell, and I\'ve added a list from the Clarksburg City Directory of the Bells living there in 1915. Maybe you can match that up with a Moose Lodge registry?- When I looked for a Moose Lodge in Clarksburg WV, all I could find was Lodge Number 52. It\'s no longer active, and I can\'t be 100% certain this card matches that lodge but it seems likely.
Unposted. Writing on the back. Small crease near man\'s legs, and another crease at lower right of desk. Edge and corner wear.
