RETRO MCM Vintage GENIE CHALKWARE W/Original Glass Insert ASHTRAYS Groovy:

Up for your consideration is this stunning set of Blackmoor Genie ashtrays. They were made in the 1950s during the Mid Century Modern \"Rage\" that has so many collectors head over heels. The typical chalkware plaster used in making these figurines has no chips or missing chalkware and still perfectly matched with the original glass insert dishes. There is minimal paint loss, and what has occurred is very consistent with the age of these pieces. These were hand painted in the factory and reflect that certain charm.

This hand painted Blackmoor genie couple is dressed in the traditional red and trimmed out in gold. They are both adorned wearing golden jewelry and golden slippers.  Each is holding a woven, golden basket between their legs, and astonishingly, they still have the original glass inserts.

The measurements of this beautiful pair are shown in the photos at approximately 6 3/4\" tall and 5 1/2\" wide.
