We are both the oldest surviving members of our families. As life-long collectors, and inheritors from those who have Gone Before, we must move on some of our Stuff before that (hopefully far-off) day when it becomes our children’s responsibility. These cards come from the family of Henry (or Henery) and Sarah (nee Luke) Radke, who lived at St Leonards around 1910, when these postcards would have been collected. They had children William Henry, Sylvia (married Eric Stutchbury) and Ernest. Henry was a master tanner, continuing the Belt Manufacturing business began by his father Albert Radke, a pioneer of Willoughby.
