A FANTASTIC and RARE photo album from the recent and wonderful old estate of the family of French Industrialists. The album coming from a beautiful estate in Tenafly, NJ having been in the same family since 1905. The family were part of the Bianchini-Ferier French textile firm well known for their designs, as well as being owners of a large glass works in Illinois. This album is embossed-monogrammed in gold gilt "J.E.P." on the cover. The binding is very worn but pages are all attached. The album measures 11 1/2" by 14". There are 68 10 3/4" long by 4 5/8" high panoramic photos. The condition of interior is as seen, the pages are on board board. There are wonderful vintage New York City images of a parade event coming down 5th Avenue towards the the flat Iron Building, plus other city views. Other views show seaside scenes on boardwalk and well-to do neighborhoods with wonderful old homes.
