A very rare and hard to find piece. It is used and in good vintage shape with some normal use paint chips and wear in various spots (see pictures). I point out a few chips and some spots where it looks like a previous owner may have tried to repair some of the paint wear (see pictures). The lid seems to not fully close (see pictures). I am unsure if that is just how it was made or not. This piece is made and signed by Peter Ompir (1908-1979), pre-eminent Folk Art painter of the 20th Century. It is beautifully hand paintedwith theunique folk art farmhouse style that Ompir was known for. It measures about 5.5\" tall to the top of the lid (see pictures). The base has a diameter of about 4.5\" (see pictures).If you have a specific question, or need a more precise picture of something, please let me know.
