Rare vintage ceramic statue by Disney animator JUTA Sangthaweed, dated 1974.
As noted in photos, it appears the previous owner took liberties with the piece and removed the “WHY YES!” Portion of the original phrasing, leaving only “I FLY”. We leave the rest to interpretation.
Statue has few small (>1cm) chips on the ceramic on the locker portion of the piece. The humanoid figure itself appears near pristine. A quick color match paint job on the locker and it would be good as new!
Comes from a smoke-free, pet-free home.
May 30, 2024: No, we are not entertaining offers on this. This statue is a unique one of Juta’s creations and it happens to be in great shape. On top of that, packing this thing to ensure that it arrives to you in one piece is a feat all on its own. We think the price is more than fair and we are willing to wait as long as it takes.
