RARE Vintage 13.5” Gino Ruggeri Italy BLUE Alabaster Madonna Mary Baby Jesus

Rare Vintage Gino Ruggeri Sculptor made in Italy. It is signed - engraved on back. The base is solid marble. The blue is a developed process by G Ruggeri of mixing Alabaster and resin to make a more durable and waterproof Sculpture. The statue is a commissioned piece for the Vatican and museums around the globe.

In excellent condition. There is one small white mark on Mary’s cloth around her left arm. Looks like it might have been bumped there, but not chipped (see picture 13).
