Featured is a vintage 1940 Advertising Postcard (dated from the No located in the stamp box) depicting a teaching/conference session at the Youngstown Pressed Steel Kitchen Planning & Merchandising School in Youngstown, Ohio. The company had been founded in 1894 by John Pew and it early on saw the importance of \"the Kitchen\" in the bigger scheme of \"Home\" products and daily living and so, it created a \"school\" with \"the Kitchen\" as its sole subject!
The card is Rare; Youngstown Pressed Steel Cards are Rare generally and records show there is only one documented sale (2021) of this PC across the past dozen years or so.PC from Teich\'s \"C T Art-Colortone\" Series. PC \"new\" to extent it is New Old Stock, has not been used in any manner, and remains Mint condition. This pristine postcard comes from the Curt Teich Archives. The card has been in our possession for approximately 15+ years ... long before the Curteich digitally archived images found their permanent home with The Newberry Institute. At the time of our acquisition, the Lake County Discovery Museum in IL was the custodian of the company\'s records, having served in that capacity since 1982.
