The last section of the extensive County Donegal narrow-gauge network to be built was the line from Strabane to Letterkenny, serving the towns of Convoy and Raphoe. This was constructed between 1904 and 1909 and was worked by the County Donegal Railways Joint Committee as a branch, from opening until the overall closure of the system on New Year\'s Day 1960.
