On offer a decade old large collection of 10 *Braverman Victorian stylized 12\" Long Brass Ladie\'s Hatpins, featuring chased & repousse relief work. Origins are unknown. Entire 10 piece ot sold as-is.
*Note: Given there is virtually no info, history re Braverman hatpins online, we recently learned about Bravermanfrom a kind 30 yr hatpin collector who took the time to enlighten us w/ detailed clarification,and as such, we have revised this description & added clear photos of their \"findings\" on undersides; last 3 photos. To be clear, apparently these hatpins were created within the last 20 years & are not 19th century antique Victorian hatpins. We are honest Sellers who have now corrected our original listing & pricing accordingly.Still a fine looking large display lot of reproduction 12\" hatpins.
Very nice condition & a rich bronze patina. All12\" long stems remain straight & secure to their respective findings. Nice assortment of heads, featuring:
▪ 1 Grouping of Kitten Figurals▪ 2 Egyptian Woman Face, Goddess Figurals▪ 3 Woman\'s Cameo Syle Portraitures▪ 2 Religious, Crusader or Prince pins; pics 4, 6, 11, 13 .. one displays early latin writing▪ 1 Unusual lrg White Carved Flower; composition unknown, ornate edge band; A 1/2\" area of edge is slightly bent under.▪ 1 Ornately carved design edge band on lrg round; may have held a centered stone.▪ Pins measure from 1\" - 1 1/2\" diameter, approx., various sizes; refer to photos.
