Stunning Piece of History and Craftsmanship

This set of plates with a different Coat of Arms decoration on each were hand decorated on porcelain in Bonn, Germany by Friedrich van Hauten circa 1890.

Their decorator specialty was coat of arms, so much so that in 1896 Kaiser Wilhelm I appointed Van Hauten ‘Court supplier to his Majesty, the Emperor and King of Prussia’.His craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident in the delicate painting of the coats of arms on the porcelain.The plates serve as both decorative pieces and historical artifacts, bridging the worlds of artistry and lineage.
