This is a presidential inaugural gift presented by Richard Nixon to White House staff s after his first term inauguration in 1969. On the front is a bronze plaque that it says \"With Deep Appreciation Richard Nixon 1968\" with his engraved signature. When the box is open it reveals two of the official inaugural medals within the wooden display box. Uniface design, each medal showing one side. It my our understanding that only 1,100 of these gift sets were produced. I have been selling historical antiques nearly 40 years this is the first set I have owned
