RARE Red PETRIFIED WOOD from GINKO FOREST AREA near Vantage WA State. Very hard to find any of this old Red Ginko Petrified Wood in circulation that was extracted from Nature in early 1960\'s. Nowadays this whole area is CLOSED to any and all prospecting. This solid specimen is nicely polished on two sides. The polished FACES both have some minor divots that cannot be buffed out because of Natural architectural structure of Chalcedony Agate replacement process and result. There is a definitive Top and Bottom because one FACE is much Better! Both ends have been cleaved from a longer Mother Rock. This specimen is likely one of many cuts from a big chunk of original material. Now you can own a Very RARE and EXOTIC piece of Geologic History that is about 15 million years old during the Miocene period. Specimen is actually petrified Leguminousxylon occidentale which is an extinct variety of Acacia Wood. Specimen is accompanied by a written pedigree card of info.
