As written on back : the Relic is the \"linen\" passed on the sacred face of the Madonna d\'Oropa and the baby Jesus. An embossed stamp with a cross is visible on the linen !!! Miracle of clean linen : Since 1720, in mid-November, it has been repeated in the ancient Basilica of the sanctuary of Oropadedicated to the Black Madonna. The dustless face isthe tradition was renewed, and the cloth remained very white.Once the statue had no glass to protect it, and the phenomenon was much more surprising. Now, despite the protective glass case, a layer of dust always forms on the body of the Madonna and also of baby Jesus, held in her arms: but it never stops on the two faces.
