You are offerding on an extraordinarily rare, genuine “PolishParatrooper Puma / Frog Wz. 93 Camouflage Pattern Uniform consisting of a matchingJacket and Pants in MINT and UNISSUED Condition Dated 1993 in a Medium Long Size 104/184”.The Puma / Frog Wz. 93 pattern only existed for a short time in the late 1980’sinto the early 1990’s before being replaced by The Presidential / Panterapattern.

The Polish Army has always been proud of its’ elite airborneforces, and this stems no doubt from the Polish Independent Parachute Brigadethat fought alongside the British paras in WW2. The Poles have always been veryinterested in camouflage uniforms for their elite paratrooper and recon units and this very rareset is an example of how different and unique this paratrooper uniform was from the standard Army camouflage uniform. The jacket is a 5 button front with the buttonsconcealed under a storm flap. There are 4 patch pockets, 2 on the chest and 2on the waist, again, with concealedbuttons to prevent snags. On the rear hips are two zippered “game bags”unique to the paratrooper uniform. There are shoulder pockets on each sleeveand on the left forearm there is an additional pocket. Each cuff has a concealed button tab for keeping the sleeves closeto the wrist. There are epaulettes with concealed buttons.Please note that all the pockets are pleated to allow the paratrooper to carry additional kit in each pocket.There is also anelastic waist for a close to the body fit. The jacket is half lined with tancotton and has several small interior pockets. There is a size tag on the neck. It is markedwith the size 104/184. The interior is also stamped with size again104/184 and the date of 3-1993, along with Polish military acceptance stamps of“WZ 127 - MON. There is also a smallmanufacturer’s tag sewn on the interior.

The matching pants have a 5-button fly, take up tabs on boththe right and left sides and wide belt loops. There are two slash hip pocketsand two large cargo pockets on the thighs.The cargo pockets have concealed buttons and are pleated. The pant legshave elastic stirrups to keep the pant legs in the trooper’s boots. Additionally,on the left leg, next to the cargo pocket, is a button tab for the PolishParatrooper fighting knife. Very similar to the WW 2 German paratrooper knifepocket. The pants have a cloth size tag (104/184) with a blank white tag forthe trooper’s name /serial #. There is also an identical set of size stamps asseen on the jacket of 3-1993, 104/184, WZ 127 MON and some additionalmanufacturer’s stamps.

I can not overstate just how rare this camouflage uniformis. This is one of those items that is just never seen and is a must if you collect Polish paratrooper material.
