ITEM: VERY RARE Original WWII Manual - ORDNANCE SCHOOL MANUAL, AMMUNITION GENERAL, ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Maryland, 1941. Massive 288 page manual on all kinds and calibers of ammunition, shells, and bombs. RARE MANUAL PUBLISHED IN HOUSE AT APG. Not like more common War Department manuals. Data, info, specs, handling, etc of all calibers of RIFLE, SMALL ARMS, ARTILLERY, AA, TANK, OTHER AMMO and BOMBS. See all pictures for just some samples of pages. VERY RARE. I could not find any of these on internet used book sites and I have never seen one before. See the other rare original SAVANNA ORDNANCE DEPOT Materials that I have listed from Ordrey Hunt. This ordnance manual is from ORDREY BENSON HUNT from Hanover, Illinois. For a decade before WWII he worked loading and stenciling large caliber ammunition and bombs at the SAVANNA ORDNANCE DEPOT, Savanna, Illinois. He received some of his training at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. During WWII he was the Foreman of Inspectors at the Savanna Ordnance Depot. The importance of his civilian job kept him from being drafted by Selective Service. His notebooks on ordinance are very rare and unique documents related to the ammunition and explosive ordnance of WWII. SORRY. DOMESTIC US SALES ONLY.
